Gender odds on the Tarantriss and Vanwyrm pair

Both Tarantriss and Vanwyrm hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Beakon comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 264 parent pairs for Beakon

Every pair that produces Beakon averages to its breed rank of 1690, and 264 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 144 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Beakon combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Beakon when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1690. 264 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Beakon

3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Beakon. Surfent and Dumud make Surfent Terra, then Tombat and Surfent Terra make Lovander, then Lovander and Loupmoon Cryst make Beakon.

Beakon passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Beakon egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Beakon worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Beakon spawns from level 30, and the alpha at level 37 in Frostbound Mountains hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 20 catch. With 264 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Beakon work suitability and drops

Beakon has Transporting 5 and Generate Electricity 4 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Beakon is actually for once it hatches

Transporting 5 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Transporting pals for what beats it. Generate Electricity 4 sits right behind it, so one Beakon covers two jobs.

Beakon active skills and partner skill

Beakon learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Thunderous. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Beakon breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Beakon produces 99 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Beakon breeding FAQ

Can you breed Beakon in Palworld?
Yes. 264 pairs produce Beakon in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Tarantriss and Vanwyrm, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Beakon in Palworld?
Tarantriss and Vanwyrm, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 20, which makes it the cheapest of the 264 pairs that produce Beakon. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1690.
Can you catch Beakon in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 30-80. Its spawn points fall inside 8 named regions, the densest Desiccated Dunes, where they run level 34-38. There is also an alpha Beakon at level 37 in Frostbound Mountains, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 543 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Beakon breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 264 of Beakon's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Beakon be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 20 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Surfent and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Beakon inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Beakon is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Tarantriss and Vanwyrm has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Tarantriss and Vanwyrm pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
