Gender odds on the Dazzi and Finsider pair

Dazzi is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 20% male, so the male you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 221 parent pairs for Needoll

Every pair that produces Needoll averages to its breed rank of 2420, and 221 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 101 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Needoll combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Needoll when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2420. 221 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

Needoll passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Needoll egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Needoll worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Needoll spawns from level 31, and the alpha at level 40 in Scouring Islet hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 1 step, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 1 catch. With 221 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

What Needoll breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Needoll produces 98 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Needoll breeding FAQ

Can you breed Needoll in Palworld?
Yes. 221 pairs produce Needoll in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Dazzi and Finsider, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Needoll in Palworld?
Dazzi and Finsider, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 221 pairs that produce Needoll. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2420.
Can you catch Needoll in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 31-40. Its spawn points fall inside 7 named regions, the densest Desiccated Dunes, where they run level 31-34. There is also an alpha Needoll at level 40 in Scouring Islet, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 380 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Needoll breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 221 of Needoll's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Needoll be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 1 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 1 step, opening with Croajiro and Wispaw. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Needoll inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Needoll is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Dazzi and Finsider has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Dazzi and Finsider pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
