Both Ghangler and Mossanda Lux hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Verdash comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 189 parent pairs for Verdash

Every pair that produces Verdash averages to its breed rank of 1160, and 189 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 69 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Verdash combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Verdash when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1160. 189 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Verdash

No chain of starter pals reaches Verdash inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 35-53.

Verdash passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Verdash egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Verdash worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Verdash spawns from level 35, and the alpha at level 35 hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch. With 189 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

What Verdash is actually for once it hatches

Handiwork 5 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Handiwork pals for what beats it. Gathering 5 sits right behind it, so one Verdash covers two jobs.

Verdash active skills and partner skill

Verdash learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Grassland Gymnast. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Verdash breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Verdash produces 86 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Verdash breeding FAQ

Can you breed Verdash in Palworld?
Yes. 189 pairs produce Verdash in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Ghangler and Mossanda Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Verdash in Palworld?
Ghangler and Mossanda Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 189 pairs that produce Verdash. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1160.
Can you catch Verdash in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 35-53. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Dancing Sakura Shrine, where they run level 52-53. There is also an alpha Verdash at level 35, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 49 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Verdash breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 189 of Verdash's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Verdash be bred in the early game?
No. No chain of starter pals reaches Verdash inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 35-53. 189 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Ghangler and Mossanda Lux, which needs a level 30 catch of its own.
Can Verdash inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Verdash is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Ghangler and Mossanda Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
