Gender odds on the Mimog and Mossanda Lux pair
Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Why an older Felbat combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Felbat when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1570. 1280 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Felbat
2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Felbat. Surfent and Dumud make Surfent Terra, then Surfent Terra and Loupmoon Cryst make Felbat.

- 2
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Felbat passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Felbat egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the full Palworld passive inheritance odds table, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Felbat worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Felbat spawns from level 20, well short of the 2-step chain it takes to make one. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 15 catch. With 1280 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Felbat in the wild
Felbat spawns in The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight and 2 other areas, at level 63-66. Another 24 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight | 63-66 | 50 |
| Frozen Coral Hill | 63-66 | 43 |
| Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate | 63-66 | 4 |
Felbat work suitability and drops
Felbat has Medicine Production 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Cloth when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Felbat is actually for once it hatches
Medicine Production 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Medicine Production pals for anything that does it properly. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Felbat active skills and partner skill
Felbat learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Life Steal. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Felbat produces 96 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Felbat breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Felbat in Palworld?
- Yes. 1280 pairs produce Felbat in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Mossanda Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Felbat in Palworld?
- Mimog and Mossanda Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 15, which makes it the cheapest of the 1280 pairs that produce Felbat. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1570.
- Can you catch Felbat in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 20-66. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight, where they run level 63-66. There is no alpha Felbat, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 121 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Felbat breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 1280 of Felbat's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Felbat be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 15 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Surfent and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Felbat inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Felbat is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Mossanda Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Mossanda Lux pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
