Gender odds on the Mimog and Turtacle pair

Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 215 parent pairs for Wixen

Every pair that produces Wixen averages to its breed rank of 2080, and 215 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 95 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Wixen combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Wixen when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2080. 215 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Wixen

2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Wixen. Surfent and Dumud make Surfent Terra, then Arsox and Surfent Terra make Wixen.

Wixen passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Wixen egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Wixen worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Wixen spawns from level 20, and the alpha at level 28 in Gobfin's Turf hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 5 catch. With 215 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Wixen work suitability and drops

Wixen has Kindling 3 and Handiwork 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Advanced Technical Manual and Ancient Civilization Parts when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Wixen is actually for once it hatches

Kindling 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Kindling pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 110 beats 72% of the roster, so it fights as well as it works.

Wixen active skills and partner skill

Wixen learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Lord Fox. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Wixen breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Wixen produces 96 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Wixen breeding FAQ

Can you breed Wixen in Palworld?
Yes. 215 pairs produce Wixen in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Turtacle, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Wixen in Palworld?
Mimog and Turtacle, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 5, which makes it the cheapest of the 215 pairs that produce Wixen. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2080.
Can you catch Wixen in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 20-38. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Ruined Fortress City, where they run level 30-34. There is also an alpha Wixen at level 28 in Gobfin's Turf, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 37 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Wixen breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 215 of Wixen's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Wixen be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 5 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Surfent and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Wixen inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Wixen is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Turtacle has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Turtacle pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
