Gender odds on the Bristla and Herbil pair
Both Bristla and Herbil hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Flopie comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“It prefers places that have an abundance of vegetation, but hay fever has apparently become a problem for Flopie as of late.”
Flopie is a Grass-type pal with 110 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 1-35. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Planting 2, Handiwork 2.
Partner skill
Helper Bunny. While in party, appears near the player. Automatically picks up nearby items.

All 110 parent combinations for Flopie
Every pair that produces Flopie averages to its breed rank of 2660, and 110 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

Why an older Flopie combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Flopie when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2660. 110 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Flopie
Flopie is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-35, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Flopie passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Flopie egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Flopie worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Flopie shows up from level 1, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 110 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Flopie in the wild
Flopie spawns in Crescent Moon Shore and 1 other area, at level 22-24. Another 22 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Crescent Moon Shore | 22-24 | 60 |
| Twilight Dunes | 22-24 | 4 |
Flopie work suitability and drops
Flopie has Planting 2 and Handiwork 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Lettuce Seeds when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Flopie is actually for once it hatches
Planting 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 65 beats only 3% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Flopie active skills and partner skill
Flopie learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Helper Bunny. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Flopie breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Flopie produces 105 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Flopie breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Flopie in Palworld?
- Yes. 110 pairs produce Flopie in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Bristla and Herbil, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Flopie in Palworld?
- Bristla and Herbil, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 110 pairs that produce Flopie. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2660.
- Can you catch Flopie in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 1-35. Its spawn points fall inside 2 named regions, the densest Crescent Moon Shore, where they run level 22-24. There is no alpha Flopie, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 86 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Flopie breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 110 of Flopie's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Flopie be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Flopie is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-35, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Flopie inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Flopie is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Bristla and Herbil has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Bristla and Herbil pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
