Why an older Splatterina combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Splatterina when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 780. 183 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Splatterina
No chain of starter pals reaches Splatterina inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 52-80.
Splatterina passive skill odds per egg
Splatterina hatches with Sadist already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 7.5% | 30 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 3.0% | 76 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 20.0% | 11 |
With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Splatterina worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Splatterina at level 65 in The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 52-80 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 42 catch. With 183 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Splatterina in the wild
Splatterina spawns in Scorched Hill and 9 other areas, at level 56-65. Every one of those spawns is at night. Another 274 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 65 in The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Scorched Hill · night | 56-65 | 162 |
| The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight · night | 60-66 | 89 |

Splatterina work suitability and drops
Splatterina has Handiwork 6 and Medicine Production 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Dark Fragment when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Splatterina is actually for once it hatches
Handiwork 6 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Handiwork pals for what beats it. Medicine Production 5 sits right behind it, so one Splatterina covers two jobs.
Splatterina active skills and partner skill
Splatterina learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Blade of Uncontrolled Passion. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Splatterina produces 80 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Splatterina breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Splatterina in Palworld?
- Yes. 183 pairs produce Splatterina in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Whalaska and Wumpo, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Splatterina in Palworld?
- Whalaska and Wumpo, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 42, which makes it the cheapest of the 183 pairs that produce Splatterina. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 780.
- Can you catch Splatterina in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 52-80. Its spawn points fall inside 10 named regions, the densest Scorched Hill, where they run level 56-65 at night. There is also an alpha Splatterina at level 65 in The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight, which beats waiting on a spawn.
- Are these Splatterina breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 183 of Splatterina's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Splatterina be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Splatterina inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 52-80. 183 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Whalaska and Wumpo, which needs a level 42 catch of its own.
- Can Splatterina inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Splatterina is born with Sadist already fixed, which leaves 3 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 3, and with a clean pool of exactly those 3 that is 30% per egg.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Whalaska and Wumpo pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
