Gender odds on the Prunelia and Ghangler pair
Prunelia is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 40% male, so the male you need turns up 40 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 185 parent pairs for Omascul
Every pair that produces Omascul averages to its breed rank of 1140, and 185 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

Why an older Omascul combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Omascul when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1140. 185 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Omascul
4 breeding steps from a starter box reach Omascul, beginning with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Every egg after that becomes a parent in the next step.
- 1
- 2

- 4
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Omascul passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Omascul egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Omascul worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Omascul at level 60 in Scorched Ashland, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 50-66 spawn. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 4 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 30 catch. With 185 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Omascul in the wild
Omascul spawns in Scorched Ashland and 12 other areas, at level 51-60. Another 448 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 60 in Scorched Ashland.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Scorched Ashland | 51-60 | 274 |
| Deserted Ash Plateau | 57-63 | 199 |
| Scorched Hill | 57-62 | 162 |
| The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight | 52-66 | 99 |
| Frozen Coral Hill | 64-66 | 95 |
| Loess Plains | 52-62 | 89 |
| Withered Seaside | 57-59 | 80 |
| Stone Pillar Cave | 57-62 | 78 |
| Emberstone Plateau | 52-66 | 72 |
| Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate | 57-66 | 62 |
Omascul work suitability and drops
Omascul has Gathering 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Dark Fragment when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Omascul is actually for once it hatches
Gathering 5 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Gathering pals for what beats it. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Omascul active skills and partner skill
Omascul learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Masquerade Dance. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Omascul produces 88 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Omascul breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Omascul in Palworld?
- Yes. 185 pairs produce Omascul in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Prunelia and Ghangler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Omascul in Palworld?
- Prunelia and Ghangler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 185 pairs that produce Omascul. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1140.
- Can you catch Omascul in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 50-66. Its spawn points fall inside 13 named regions, the densest Scorched Ashland, where they run level 51-60. There is also an alpha Omascul at level 60 in Scorched Ashland, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 1745 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Omascul breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 185 of Omascul's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Omascul be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 4 steps, opening with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Omascul inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Omascul is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Prunelia and Ghangler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Prunelia and Ghangler pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
