Gender odds on the Mimog and Fuddler pair
Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry
“It used to be considered an emissary of the Thunder God, and thus was not hunted by people. However, after witnesses observed one die from a lightning strike, its reverence faded, and it quite literally fell into the role of a workhorse.”

Why an older Univolt combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Univolt when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2270. 178 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Univolt
1 breeding step from a starter box reach Univolt. Turtacle and Munchill make Univolt.
- 1
Measured from an early-game box, so there is not much left to shorten. Load your save to check it against what you own.
Univolt passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Univolt egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Univolt worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Univolt shows up from level 14, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 1 step, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 5 catch. With 178 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Univolt in the wild
Univolt spawns in Bamboo Groves and 1 other area, at level 20-24. Another 6 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 31 in Sea Breeze Archipelago.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Bamboo Groves | 20-24 | 28 |
| Deep Bamboo Thicket | 20-24 | 20 |
Univolt work suitability and drops
Univolt has Generate Electricity 3 and Lumbering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Univolt is actually for once it hatches
Generate Electricity 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Generate Electricity pals for anything that does it properly. It eats 3 food slots, so it is cheap to keep fed.
Univolt active skills and partner skill
Univolt learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Swift Deity. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Univolt breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Univolt in Palworld?
- Yes. 178 pairs produce Univolt in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Fuddler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Univolt in Palworld?
- Mimog and Fuddler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 5, which makes it the cheapest of the 178 pairs that produce Univolt. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2270.
- Can you catch Univolt in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 14-80. Its spawn points fall inside 2 named regions, the densest Bamboo Groves, where they run level 20-24. There is also an alpha Univolt at level 31 in Sea Breeze Archipelago, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 54 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Univolt breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 178 of Univolt's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Univolt be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 5 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 1 step, opening with Turtacle and Munchill. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Univolt inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Univolt is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Fuddler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Fuddler pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
