Gender odds on the Broncherry and Ghangler pair
Both Broncherry and Ghangler hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Helzephyr comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Helzephyr combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Helzephyr when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1130. 183 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Helzephyr
5 breeding steps from a starter box reach Helzephyr, beginning with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Every egg after that becomes a parent in the next step.

- 2

Helzephyr passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Helzephyr egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Helzephyr worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Helzephyr spawns from level 24, well short of the 5-step chain it takes to make one. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 5 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 30 catch. With 183 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Helzephyr in the wild
Helzephyr spawns in Scorched Hill and 17 other areas, at level 62-64. Some of those spawns are night only. Another 330 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.

Helzephyr work suitability and drops
Helzephyr has Transporting 4 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Dark Radiant Gem when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Helzephyr is actually for once it hatches
Transporting 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Transporting pals for what beats it. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Helzephyr active skills and partner skill
Helzephyr learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Wings of Death. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Helzephyr produces 88 different children, the rarest of them Frostallion Noct and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Helzephyr breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Helzephyr in Palworld?
- Yes. 183 pairs produce Helzephyr in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Broncherry and Ghangler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Helzephyr in Palworld?
- Broncherry and Ghangler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 183 pairs that produce Helzephyr. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1130.
- Can you catch Helzephyr in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 24-80. Its spawn points fall inside 18 named regions, the densest Scorched Hill, where they run level 62-64. There is no alpha Helzephyr, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 1123 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Helzephyr breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 183 of Helzephyr's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Helzephyr be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 5 steps, opening with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Helzephyr inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Helzephyr is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Broncherry and Ghangler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Broncherry and Ghangler pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
