Why an older Blazamut combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Blazamut when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 410. 87 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Blazamut
No chain of starter pals reaches Blazamut inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 46-80.
Blazamut passive skill odds per egg
Blazamut hatches with Flame Emperor already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 7.5% | 30 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 3.0% | 76 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 20.0% | 11 |
With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Blazamut worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Blazamut at level 52, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 46-80 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 49 catch. 87 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Blazamut in the wild
Blazamut spawns in Flamepulse Islet, the one named region its markers land in, at level 46-50. Another 6 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 52.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Flamepulse Islet | 46-50 | 10 |
Blazamut work suitability and drops
Blazamut has Mining 7 and Kindling 6 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Assault Rifle Schematic 4 when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Blazamut is actually for once it hatches
Mining 7 is the reason to keep one, one off the ceiling of 8. Put it on that job and leave it there. Ranked against the rest on best Mining pals. Kindling 6 sits right behind it, so one Blazamut covers two jobs. At rarity 9 of 20 you will not trip over one.
Blazamut active skills and partner skill
Blazamut learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Magma Kaiser. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Blazamut breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Blazamut produces 81 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Blazamut breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Blazamut in Palworld?
- Yes. 87 pairs produce Blazamut in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Reptyro Cryst and Lyleen Noct, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Blazamut in Palworld?
- Reptyro Cryst and Lyleen Noct, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 49, which makes it the cheapest of the 87 pairs that produce Blazamut. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 410.
- Can you catch Blazamut in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 46-80. Its spawn points fall inside one named region, Flamepulse Islet, where they run level 46-50. There is also an alpha Blazamut at level 52, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 16 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Blazamut breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 87 of Blazamut's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Blazamut be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Blazamut inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 46-80. 87 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Reptyro Cryst and Lyleen Noct, which needs a level 49 catch of its own.
- Can Blazamut inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Blazamut is born with Flame Emperor already fixed, which leaves 3 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 3, and with a clean pool of exactly those 3 that is 30% per egg.
