Shroomer is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 55% male, so the female you need turns up 45 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 197 parent pairs for Suzaku

Every pair that produces Suzaku averages to its breed rank of 1200, and 197 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 77 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Suzaku combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Suzaku when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1200. 197 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Suzaku

4 breeding steps from a starter box reach Suzaku, beginning with Arsox and Chillet. Every egg after that becomes a parent in the next step.

Suzaku passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Suzaku egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Suzaku worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Suzaku at level 45 in Desiccated Dunes, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 40-80 spawn. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 4 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 30 catch. With 197 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Where to find Suzaku in the wild

Suzaku has an alpha at level 45 in Desiccated Dunes, and that is the one fixed Suzaku on the map. The game gives it a wild band of level 40-80 on top of that, though no named region carries a spawn point attributed to it. An alpha is a guaranteed catch rather than a spawn you wait for.

Suzaku work suitability and drops

Suzaku has Kindling 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Suzaku is actually for once it hatches

Kindling 5 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Kindling pals for what beats it.

Suzaku active skills and partner skill

Suzaku learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Wings of Flame. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Suzaku breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Suzaku produces 90 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Suzaku Aqua. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Suzaku breeding FAQ

Can you breed Suzaku in Palworld?
Yes. 197 pairs produce Suzaku in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Shroomer and Ghangler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Suzaku in Palworld?
Shroomer and Ghangler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 197 pairs that produce Suzaku. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1200.
Can you catch Suzaku in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 40-80. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. The alpha at level 45 in Desiccated Dunes is the reliable one to go for, because it stands in one place. It is active in daylight.
Are these Suzaku breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 197 of Suzaku's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Suzaku be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 4 steps, opening with Arsox and Chillet. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Suzaku inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Suzaku is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Shroomer and Ghangler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Shroomer and Ghangler pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
