Gender odds on the Dazzi and Flopie pair
Dazzi is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 20% male, so the male you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry
“Be sure to check your plans for the next day before falling asleep with this Pal. Its suction cups leave marks that look suspiciously like hickeys. One sleepy cuddle session could lead to some truly awkward misunderstandings.”
Gloopie is a Water/Dark-type pal with 187 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 10-80. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Watering 2, Handiwork 2.
Partner skill
Sticky Princess. While in party, the capture gauge decreases 12% more slowly while the bars are not overlapping during the fishing minigame. (Does not stack)

Why an older Gloopie combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Gloopie when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2530. 187 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Gloopie
Gloopie is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 10-80, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Gloopie passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Gloopie egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Gloopie worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Gloopie shows up from level 10, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 187 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Gloopie in the wild
Gloopie spawns in Scorched Ashland and 2 other areas, at level 50-58. Another 30 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Scorched Ashland | 50-58 | 108 |
| Deserted Ash Plateau | 56-62 | 72 |
| Withered Seaside | 56-58 | 55 |
Gloopie work suitability and drops
Gloopie has Watering 2 and Handiwork 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Aquatic Pal Fluids when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Gloopie is actually for once it hatches
Watering 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Watering pals for anything that does it properly. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Gloopie active skills and partner skill
Gloopie learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Sticky Princess. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Gloopie breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Gloopie produces 104 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Gloopie breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Gloopie in Palworld?
- Yes. 187 pairs produce Gloopie in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Dazzi and Flopie, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Gloopie in Palworld?
- Dazzi and Flopie, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 187 pairs that produce Gloopie. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2530.
- Can you catch Gloopie in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 10-80. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Scorched Ashland, where they run level 50-58. There is no alpha Gloopie, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 265 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Gloopie breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 187 of Gloopie's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Gloopie be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Gloopie is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 10-80, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Gloopie inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Gloopie is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Dazzi and Flopie has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Dazzi and Flopie pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
