Gender odds on the Nyafia and Ghangler pair
Nyafia is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 40% male, so the male you need turns up 40 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Why an older Reptyro combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Reptyro when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1060. 359 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Reptyro
4 breeding steps from a starter box reach Reptyro, beginning with Arsox and Chillet. Every egg after that becomes a parent in the next step.
- 1
- 2
- 3
- 4
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Reptyro passive skill odds per egg
Reptyro hatches with Heavyweight already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 7.5% | 30 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 3.0% | 76 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 20.0% | 11 |
With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Reptyro worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Reptyro spawns from level 36, and the alpha at level 50 in Mount Obsidian hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 4 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 30 catch. With 359 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Reptyro in the wild
Reptyro spawns in Mount Obsidian, the one named region its markers land in, at level 46-48. Another 5 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 50 in Mount Obsidian.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Mount Obsidian | 46-48 | 25 |
Reptyro work suitability and drops
Reptyro has Kindling 5 and Mining 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Flame Organ when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Reptyro is actually for once it hatches
Kindling 5 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Kindling pals for what beats it. Mining 5 sits right behind it, so one Reptyro covers two jobs.
Reptyro active skills and partner skill
Reptyro learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Ore-Loving Beast. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Reptyro breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Reptyro produces 87 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Reptyro breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Reptyro in Palworld?
- Yes. 359 pairs produce Reptyro in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Nyafia and Ghangler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Reptyro in Palworld?
- Nyafia and Ghangler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 359 pairs that produce Reptyro. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1060.
- Can you catch Reptyro in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 36-50. Its spawn points fall inside one named region, Mount Obsidian, where they run level 46-48. There is also an alpha Reptyro at level 50 in Mount Obsidian, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 30 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Reptyro breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 359 of Reptyro's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Reptyro be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 4 steps, opening with Arsox and Chillet. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Reptyro inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Reptyro is born with Heavyweight already fixed, which leaves 3 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 3, and with a clean pool of exactly those 3 that is 30% per egg.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Nyafia and Ghangler pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
