Both Digtoise and Dinossom Lux hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Petallia comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 244 parent pairs for Petallia

Every pair that produces Petallia averages to its breed rank of 1720, and 244 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 124 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Petallia combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Petallia when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1720. 244 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Petallia

3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Petallia. Arsox and Chillet make Chillet Ignis, then Tombat and Chillet Ignis make Sweepa, then Sweepa and Loupmoon Cryst make Petallia.

Petallia passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Petallia egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

3 specific passives5 6.0%38
2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Petallia worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Petallia spawns from level 28, well short of the 3-step chain it takes to make one. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 17 catch. With 244 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Petallia work suitability and drops

Petallia has Planting 4 and Medicine Production 4 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Beautiful Flower when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Petallia is actually for once it hatches

Planting 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Planting pals for what beats it. Medicine Production 4 sits right behind it, so one Petallia covers two jobs.

Petallia active skills and partner skill

Petallia learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Blessing of the Flower Spirit. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Petallia breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Petallia produces 99 different children, the rarest of them Petallia Ignis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Petallia breeding FAQ

Can you breed Petallia in Palworld?
Yes. 244 pairs produce Petallia in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Digtoise and Dinossom Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Petallia in Palworld?
Digtoise and Dinossom Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 17, which makes it the cheapest of the 244 pairs that produce Petallia. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1720.
Can you catch Petallia in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 28-57. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Crescent Moon Shore, where they run level 28-30. There is no alpha Petallia, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 106 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Petallia breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 244 of Petallia's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Petallia be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 17 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Arsox and Chillet. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Petallia inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Petallia is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Digtoise and Dinossom Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Digtoise and Dinossom Lux pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
