Gender odds on the Ribbuny and Chikipi pair
Both Ribbuny and Chikipi hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Clovee comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“Some individuals once had three or more leaves on their foreheads. Regarded as symbols of good fortune, those with more leaves were heavily hunted, leading the species to evolve fewer leaves over time.”
Clovee is a Grass/Neutral-type pal with 48 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 3-13. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Planting 1, Gathering 1.

Why an older Clovee combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Clovee when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2970. 48 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Clovee
Clovee is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 3-13, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Clovee passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Clovee egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Clovee worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Clovee shows up from level 3, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 48 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Clovee in the wild
Clovee spawns in Golden Hills and 3 other areas, at level 3-5. Another 18 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Golden Hills | 3-5 | 17 |
| Windswept Island | 3-5 | 17 |
| Fortress Ruins | 3-5 | 7 |
| Autumn Rocks | 3-5 | 1 |
Clovee work suitability and drops
Clovee has Planting 1 and Gathering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Berry Seeds when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Clovee is actually for once it hatches
Planting 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 65 beats only 3% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Clovee active skills and partner skill
Clovee learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Happy Clover. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Clovee breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Clovee produces 109 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Elizabee. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Clovee breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Clovee in Palworld?
- Yes. 48 pairs produce Clovee in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Ribbuny and Chikipi, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Clovee in Palworld?
- Ribbuny and Chikipi, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 48 pairs that produce Clovee. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2970.
- Can you catch Clovee in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 3-13. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Golden Hills, where they run level 3-5. There is no alpha Clovee, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 60 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Clovee breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 48 of Clovee's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Clovee be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Clovee is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 3-13, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Clovee inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Clovee is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Ribbuny and Chikipi has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Ribbuny and Chikipi pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
