Gender odds on the Bristla and Swee pair
Both Bristla and Swee hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Killamari comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“It wraps itself around an enemy's head, sucking out their insides. Pal mummies are occasionally found, but these are in fact Killamari victims.”
Killamari is a Dark/Water-type pal with 88 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 5-62. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Transporting 2, Watering 1.
Partner skill
Fried Squid. While in party, modifies the performance of the equipped glider. Enables gentle floating while gliding for an extended time.

Why an older Killamari combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Killamari when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2770. 88 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Killamari
Killamari is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 5-62, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Killamari passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Killamari egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Killamari worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Killamari shows up from level 5, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 88 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Killamari in the wild
Killamari spawns in Scorched Ashland and 2 other areas, at level 56-58. Some of those spawns are night only. Another 28 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Scorched Ashland | 56-58 | 105 |
| Deserted Ash Plateau | 60-62 | 75 |
| Twilight Dunes · night | 34-38 | 9 |
Killamari work suitability and drops
Killamari has Transporting 2 and Watering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Aquatic Pal Fluids when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Killamari is actually for once it hatches
Transporting 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Transporting pals for anything that does it properly. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Killamari active skills and partner skill
Killamari learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Fried Squid. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Killamari breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Killamari produces 106 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Killamari breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Killamari in Palworld?
- Yes. 88 pairs produce Killamari in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Bristla and Swee, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Killamari in Palworld?
- Bristla and Swee, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 88 pairs that produce Killamari. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2770.
- Can you catch Killamari in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 5-62. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Scorched Ashland, where they run level 56-58. There is no alpha Killamari, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 217 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Killamari breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 88 of Killamari's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Killamari be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Killamari is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 5-62, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Killamari inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Killamari is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Bristla and Swee has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Bristla and Swee pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
