The only pair that hatches Mimog
Two Mimog is the only pair that hatches a Mimog egg in Palworld 1.0, so no chain of other species reaches it. Wild ones spawn at level 5-80.

Gender odds on a Mimog pair
You need two Mimog in the farm at once, one of each gender. Mimog hatches 80% male, so the female half is the slow part. Two of the same gender in a breeding farm produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“There was once a tradition of handing out an award to the person who met their end in the most foolish way. The first award was given for |being unaware of Mimog, opening the chest, and being bitten to death.|”
Mimog is a Neutral-type pal whose only entry in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table is two Mimog. No chain of other species reaches it. Once two are in your box, pairing them rolls passive skills rather than producing a species you did not have. Wild ones sit at level 5-80. Best jobs: Transporting 2, Gathering 1.
Partner skill
Master of Unlocking. While fighting together, Mimog can open treasure chests without using a key.

The only parent combination for Mimog
Two Mimog is the only pair the Palworld 1.0 table gives, and a pair of them averages to its own breed rank of 1740. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. You need both in the farm at the same time.
Why an older Mimog combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces a child when the parents' breed ranks average to the child's, and Mimog sits at 1740 with only itself hitting that number. Any older list naming two different species for it is quoting a table that no longer ships.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Mimog
No chain of starter pals reaches Mimog inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 5-80.
Mimog passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Mimog egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds for two parents of the same species, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Mimog worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Mimog shows up from level 5, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations.
Breed it anyway once two are in the box. Pairing them rolls passive skills, which is the only thing breeding can still give you here.

Mimog work suitability and drops
Mimog has Transporting 2 and Gathering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Dog Coin when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Mimog is actually for once it hatches
Transporting 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Transporting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 60 beats only 0% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Mimog active skills and partner skill
Mimog learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Master of Unlocking. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Mimog breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Mimog produces 98 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Mimog breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Mimog in Palworld?
- Not from any other species. The only pairing in the Palworld 1.0 table that produces Mimog is two Mimog, opposite genders, with cake in the breeding farm. You have to obtain the first one some other way before breeding is an option at all.
- Can you catch Mimog in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 5-80. Its spawn points fall inside 45 named regions, the densest Desiccated Dunes, where they run level 25-36. There is no alpha Mimog, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 4661 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Mimog breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. The game's real 44,849-pair table gives Mimog exactly one entry, two Mimog, and no cross-species pair at all. Older lists naming two different species for it are quoting a table that no longer ships. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell that a list is stale.
- Can Mimog be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Mimog inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 5-80. Two Mimog is the only pair the 1.0 table holds for it, so breeding is what you do after the catch rather than instead of it.
- Can Mimog inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if the two Mimog you pair hold exactly those four between them. Mimog is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and anything extra on either parent dilutes the draw. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and ranks your own Mimog pairs by the passive skills they would actually pass on.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
