Gender odds on the Mimog and Flambelle pair
Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Why an older Kingpaca combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Kingpaca when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2220. 187 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Kingpaca
2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Kingpaca. Surfent and Dumud make Surfent Terra, then Croajiro and Surfent Terra make Kingpaca.
- 1
- 2
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Kingpaca passive skill odds per egg
Kingpaca hatches with Heavyweight already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 7.5% | 30 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 3.0% | 76 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 20.0% | 11 |
With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Kingpaca worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Kingpaca spawns from level 23, and the alpha at level 23 in Golden Hills hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 5 catch. With 187 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Kingpaca in the wild
Kingpaca has an alpha at level 23 in Golden Hills, and that is the one fixed Kingpaca on the map. The game gives it a wild band of level 23-80 on top of that, though no named region carries a spawn point attributed to it. An alpha is a guaranteed catch rather than a spawn you wait for.
Kingpaca work suitability and drops
Kingpaca has Gathering 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Kingpaca is actually for once it hatches
Gathering 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Gathering pals for anything that does it properly.
Kingpaca active skills and partner skill
Kingpaca learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is King of Muscles. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Kingpaca produces 105 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca Cryst and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Kingpaca breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Kingpaca in Palworld?
- Yes. 187 pairs produce Kingpaca in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Flambelle, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Kingpaca in Palworld?
- Mimog and Flambelle, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 5, which makes it the cheapest of the 187 pairs that produce Kingpaca. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2220.
- Can you catch Kingpaca in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 23-80. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. The alpha at level 23 in Golden Hills is the reliable one to go for, because it stands in one place. It is active in daylight.
- Are these Kingpaca breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 187 of Kingpaca's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Kingpaca be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 5 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Surfent and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Kingpaca inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Kingpaca is born with Heavyweight already fixed, which leaves 3 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 3, and with a clean pool of exactly those 3 that is 30% per egg.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Flambelle pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
