Gender odds on the Sparkit and Flambelle pair
Both Sparkit and Flambelle hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Ribbuny comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Ribbuny combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Ribbuny when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2860. 105 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Ribbuny
Ribbuny is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-35, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Ribbuny passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Ribbuny egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Ribbuny worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Ribbuny shows up from level 1, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 105 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Ribbuny in the wild
Ribbuny spawns in Crescent Moon Shore and 10 other areas, at level 22-24. Another 118 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Crescent Moon Shore | 22-24 | 60 |
| Isle of Silence | 1-3 | 59 |
| Eastern Wild Island | 1-3 | 54 |
| Isle of Murmurs | 1-3 | 46 |
| Marsh Island | 1-3 | 24 |
| Deep Bamboo Thicket | 10-22 | 16 |
| Flying Fish Coast | 1-3 | 9 |
| Twilight Dunes | 22-24 | 4 |
| Windswept Island | 1-3 | 3 |
| Foot of the Volcano | 18-22 | 3 |
Ribbuny work suitability and drops
Ribbuny has Handiwork 1 and Gathering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Beautiful Flower when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Ribbuny is actually for once it hatches
Handiwork 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Handiwork pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 65 beats only 3% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Ribbuny active skills and partner skill
Ribbuny learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Happy-Go-Lucky Bunny. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Ribbuny breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Ribbuny produces 110 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Ribbuny breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Ribbuny in Palworld?
- Yes. 105 pairs produce Ribbuny in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Sparkit and Flambelle, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Ribbuny in Palworld?
- Sparkit and Flambelle, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 105 pairs that produce Ribbuny. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2860.
- Can you catch Ribbuny in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 1-35. Its spawn points fall inside 11 named regions, the densest Crescent Moon Shore, where they run level 22-24. There is no alpha Ribbuny, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 398 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Ribbuny breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 105 of Ribbuny's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Ribbuny be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Ribbuny is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-35, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Ribbuny inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Ribbuny is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Sparkit and Flambelle has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Sparkit and Flambelle pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
