Gender odds on the Digtoise and Dazzi pair
Dazzi is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 20% male, so the male you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 225 parent pairs for Pyrin
Every pair that produces Pyrin averages to its breed rank of 1980, and 225 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

Why an older Pyrin combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Pyrin when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1980. 225 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Pyrin
3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Pyrin. Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu make Eikthyrdeer Terra, then Dumud and Eikthyrdeer Terra make Dumud Gild, then Tombat and Dumud Gild make Pyrin.

Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Pyrin passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Pyrin egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Pyrin worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Pyrin spawns from level 29, well short of the 3-step chain it takes to make one. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 17 catch. With 225 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Pyrin in the wild
Pyrin spawns in Mount Obsidian and 1 other area, at level 30-38. Another 23 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Mount Obsidian | 30-38 | 38 |
| Foot of the Volcano | 32-35 | 15 |
Pyrin work suitability and drops
Pyrin has Kindling 4 and Lumbering 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Pyrin is actually for once it hatches
Kindling 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Kindling pals for what beats it.
Pyrin active skills and partner skill
Pyrin learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Red Hare. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Pyrin breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Pyrin produces 99 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Pyrin breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Pyrin in Palworld?
- Yes. 225 pairs produce Pyrin in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Digtoise and Dazzi, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Pyrin in Palworld?
- Digtoise and Dazzi, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 17, which makes it the cheapest of the 225 pairs that produce Pyrin. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1980.
- Can you catch Pyrin in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 29-80. Its spawn points fall inside 2 named regions, the densest Mount Obsidian, where they run level 30-38. There is no alpha Pyrin, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 76 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Pyrin breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 225 of Pyrin's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Pyrin be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 17 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Pyrin inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Pyrin is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Digtoise and Dazzi has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Digtoise and Dazzi pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
