Gender odds on the Mimog and Univolt pair

Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

The 120 easiest of 201 parent pairs for Lunaris

Every pair that produces Lunaris averages to its breed rank of 2010, and 201 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 81 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Lunaris combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Lunaris when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2010. 201 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Lunaris

3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Lunaris. Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu make Eikthyrdeer Terra, then Dumud and Eikthyrdeer Terra make Dumud Gild, then Dazzi and Dumud Gild make Lunaris.

Lunaris passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Lunaris egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Lunaris worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Lunaris spawns from level 25, and the alpha at level 35 in Verdant Brook hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 14 catch. With 201 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Lunaris work suitability and drops

Lunaris has Handiwork 4 and Gathering 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Paldium Fragment when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Lunaris is actually for once it hatches

Handiwork 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Handiwork pals for what beats it.

Lunaris active skills and partner skill

Lunaris learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Antigravity. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Lunaris breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Lunaris produces 98 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Lunaris breeding FAQ

Can you breed Lunaris in Palworld?
Yes. 201 pairs produce Lunaris in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Univolt, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Lunaris in Palworld?
Mimog and Univolt, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 14, which makes it the cheapest of the 201 pairs that produce Lunaris. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2010.
Can you catch Lunaris in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 25-49. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Foot of the Astral Mountains, where they run level 36-39. There is also an alpha Lunaris at level 35 in Verdant Brook, which beats waiting on a spawn.
Are these Lunaris breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 201 of Lunaris's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Lunaris be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 14 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Lunaris inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Lunaris is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Univolt has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Univolt pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
