Gender odds on the Mimog and Daedream pair

Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry

“It can curl up its body and roll around at extremely high speeds. Long ago, people would tie bags of milk to domesticated Chillet as they grazed to produce butter using this spinning force.”

Chillet is an Ice/Dragon-type pal with 165 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 11-80. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Cooling 2, Gathering 1.

The 120 easiest of 165 parent pairs for Chillet

Every pair that produces Chillet averages to its breed rank of 2330, and 165 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 45 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Chillet combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Chillet when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2330. 165 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Chillet

Chillet is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 11-80, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.

Chillet passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Chillet egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

3 specific passives4 15.0%15
3 specific passives5 6.0%38
2 specific passives2 60.0%3
2 specific passives4 25.0%9

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Chillet worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one, and early. Chillet shows up from level 11, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 165 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Chillet work suitability and drops

Chillet has Cooling 2 and Gathering 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Cloth Outfit Schematic 4 when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Chillet is actually for once it hatches

Cooling 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Cooling pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 80 beats only 21% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.

Chillet active skills and partner skill

Chillet learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Wriggling Weasel. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Chillet breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Chillet produces 104 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Chillet breeding FAQ

Can you breed Chillet in Palworld?
Yes. 165 pairs produce Chillet in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Daedream, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Chillet in Palworld?
Mimog and Daedream, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 5, which makes it the cheapest of the 165 pairs that produce Chillet. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2330.
Can you catch Chillet in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 11-80. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Foot of the Astral Mountains, where they run level 32-36. There is also an alpha Chillet at level 11 in Fortress Ruins, which beats waiting on a spawn.
Are these Chillet breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 165 of Chillet's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Chillet be bred in the early game?
Yes. Chillet is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 11-80, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
Can Chillet inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Chillet is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Daedream has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Daedream pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
