Gender odds on the Mimog and Cremis pair
Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry
“In ancient times, carnivorous Pals pursued them relentlessly. The absurd fury in the cries of Arsox transformed into a raging inferno, which has been passed on to this day.”
Arsox is a Fire-type pal with 168 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 1-34. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Kindling 3, Lumbering 2.
Partner skill
Warm Body. Can be ridden. While in party, the player gains Cold Resistance +2. (Does not stack)

Why an older Arsox combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Arsox when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2320. 168 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Arsox
Arsox is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-34, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Arsox passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Arsox egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Arsox worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Arsox shows up from level 1, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 168 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Arsox in the wild
Arsox spawns in Foot of the Volcano and 3 other areas, at level 20-27. Another 36 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 15.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Foot of the Volcano | 20-27 | 55 |
| Gobfin's Turf | 20-25 | 12 |
| Marsh Island | 20-25 | 2 |
| Fortress Ruins | 20-25 | 1 |
Arsox work suitability and drops
Arsox has Kindling 3 and Lumbering 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Flame Organ when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Arsox is actually for once it hatches
Kindling 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Kindling pals for anything that does it properly. It eats 3 food slots, so it is cheap to keep fed.
Arsox active skills and partner skill
Arsox learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Warm Body. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Arsox breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Arsox produces 103 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Arsox breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Arsox in Palworld?
- Yes. 168 pairs produce Arsox in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Cremis, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Arsox in Palworld?
- Mimog and Cremis, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 5, which makes it the cheapest of the 168 pairs that produce Arsox. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2320.
- Can you catch Arsox in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 1-34. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Foot of the Volcano, where they run level 20-27. There is also an alpha Arsox at level 15, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 106 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Arsox breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 168 of Arsox's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Arsox be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Arsox is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-34, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Arsox inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Arsox is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Cremis has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Cremis pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
