Gender odds on the Mimog and Kelpsea pair

Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry

“It possesses a demeanor as pure as its appearance suggests. Perhaps because of this, it is sometimes unable to discern good from evil, often allowing wrongdoers to take advantage of it.”

The 120 easiest of 176 parent pairs for Elphidran

Every pair that produces Elphidran averages to its breed rank of 2280, and 176 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 56 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Elphidran combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Elphidran when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2280. 176 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Elphidran

2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Elphidran. Arsox and Chillet make Chillet Ignis, then Croajiro and Chillet Ignis make Elphidran.

Elphidran passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Elphidran egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Elphidran worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Elphidran spawns from level 20, and the alpha at level 30 hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 9 catch. With 176 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Elphidran work suitability and drops

Elphidran has Lumbering 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Elphidran is actually for once it hatches

Lumbering 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Lumbering pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 80 beats only 21% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.

Elphidran active skills and partner skill

Elphidran learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Amicable Holy Dragon. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Elphidran breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Elphidran produces 104 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Elphidran Aqua. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Elphidran breeding FAQ

Can you breed Elphidran in Palworld?
Yes. 176 pairs produce Elphidran in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Kelpsea, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Elphidran in Palworld?
Mimog and Kelpsea, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 9, which makes it the cheapest of the 176 pairs that produce Elphidran. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2280.
Can you catch Elphidran in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 20-80. Its spawn points fall inside 5 named regions, the densest Ancient Ritual Site, where they run level 25-28. There is also an alpha Elphidran at level 30, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 271 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Elphidran breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 176 of Elphidran's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Elphidran be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 9 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Arsox and Chillet. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Elphidran inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Elphidran is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Kelpsea has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Kelpsea pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
