Gender odds on the Mimog and Felbat pair

Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry

“Among Polapups, the fastest slider on the snow earns the highest respect. Sometimes, a too-forceful leap sends one tumbling from the sky— a common sight during territorial season. Forecast: clear skies with a chance of flying Polapups.”

The 120 easiest of 269 parent pairs for Polapup

Every pair that produces Polapup averages to its breed rank of 1660, and 269 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 149 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Polapup combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Polapup when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1660. 269 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Polapup

3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Polapup. Arsox and Dumud make Kikit, then Woolipop and Kikit make Woolipop Terra, then Woolipop Terra and Loupmoon Cryst make Polapup.

Polapup passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Polapup egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Polapup worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one. Polapup spawns from level 33, well short of the 3-step chain it takes to make one. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 20 catch. With 269 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

What Polapup breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Polapup produces 98 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Polapup breeding FAQ

Can you breed Polapup in Palworld?
Yes. 269 pairs produce Polapup in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Felbat, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Polapup in Palworld?
Mimog and Felbat, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 20, which makes it the cheapest of the 269 pairs that produce Polapup. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1660.
Can you catch Polapup in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 33-60. Its spawn points fall inside 3 named regions, the densest Foot of the Astral Mountains, where they run level 33-37. There is no alpha Polapup, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 61 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Polapup breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 269 of Polapup's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Polapup be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 20 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Arsox and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Polapup inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Polapup is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Felbat has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Felbat pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
