Both Loupmoon and Mossanda Lux hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Snock comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 256 parent pairs for Snock

Every pair that produces Snock averages to its breed rank of 1780, and 256 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 136 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Snock combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Snock when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1780. 256 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Snock

2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Snock. Turtacle and Munchill make Univolt, then Univolt and Loupmoon Cryst make Snock.

Snock passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Snock egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Snock worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Snock at level 65, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 63-69 spawn. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 15 catch. With 256 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Snock work suitability and drops

Snock has Generate Electricity 4 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Aquatic Pal Fluids when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Snock is actually for once it hatches

Generate Electricity 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Generate Electricity pals for what beats it. Attack 70 beats only 4% of the roster, so keep it on base duty.

Snock active skills and partner skill

Snock learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Charging Shell. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Snock breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Snock produces 94 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Snock breeding FAQ

Can you breed Snock in Palworld?
Yes. 256 pairs produce Snock in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Loupmoon and Mossanda Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Snock in Palworld?
Loupmoon and Mossanda Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 15, which makes it the cheapest of the 256 pairs that produce Snock. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1780.
Can you catch Snock in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 63-69. Its spawn points fall inside 2 named regions, the densest Enchanted Firmament, where they run level 64-65. There is also an alpha Snock at level 65, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 66 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Snock breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 256 of Snock's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Snock be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 15 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Turtacle and Munchill. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Snock inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Snock is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Loupmoon and Mossanda Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Loupmoon and Mossanda Lux pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
