Gender odds on the Katress and Mossanda Lux pair
Both Katress and Mossanda Lux hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Slowatt comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Slowatt combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Slowatt when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1750. 392 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Slowatt
2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Slowatt. Wispaw and Munchill make Dazemu, then Dazemu and Loupmoon Cryst make Slowatt.
- 1
- 2
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Slowatt passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Slowatt egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the full Palworld passive inheritance odds table, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Slowatt worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Slowatt at level 66 in Azure Woodland, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 65-66 spawn. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 20 catch. With 392 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Slowatt in the wild
Slowatt spawns in Azure Woodland, the one named region its markers land in, at level 65-66. Another 4 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 66 in Azure Woodland.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Azure Woodland | 65-66 | 32 |
Slowatt work suitability and drops
Slowatt has Generate Electricity 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Aquatic Pal Fluids when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Slowatt is actually for once it hatches
Generate Electricity 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Generate Electricity pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 75 beats only 14% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Slowatt active skills and partner skill
Slowatt learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Chillswitch. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Slowatt breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Slowatt produces 95 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Slowatt breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Slowatt in Palworld?
- Yes. 392 pairs produce Slowatt in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Katress and Mossanda Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Slowatt in Palworld?
- Katress and Mossanda Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 20, which makes it the cheapest of the 392 pairs that produce Slowatt. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1750.
- Can you catch Slowatt in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 65-66. Its spawn points fall inside one named region, Azure Woodland, where they run level 65-66. There is also an alpha Slowatt at level 66 in Azure Woodland, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 36 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Slowatt breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 392 of Slowatt's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Slowatt be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 20 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Wispaw and Munchill. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Slowatt inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Slowatt is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Katress and Mossanda Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Katress and Mossanda Lux pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
