Gender odds on the Swee and Chikipi pair
Both Swee and Chikipi hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Pengullet comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“The feathers of this Pal have all but disappeared, but sadly, its desire to fly has remained as strong as ever. Even now, it tries to fly again in any way it can.”
Pengullet is a Water/Ice-type pal with 50 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 1-45. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Watering 1, Handiwork 1.

Why an older Pengullet combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Pengullet when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2960. 50 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Pengullet
Pengullet is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-45, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Pengullet passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Pengullet egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Pengullet worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Pengullet shows up from level 1, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 50 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Pengullet in the wild

| Foot of the Astral Mountains | 35-34 | 88 |
| Isle of Murmurs | 2-4 | 58 |

Pengullet work suitability and drops
Pengullet has Watering 1 and Handiwork 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Aquatic Pal Fluids when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Pengullet is actually for once it hatches
Watering 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Watering pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 75 beats only 14% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Pengullet active skills and partner skill
Pengullet learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Pengullet Launcher. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Pengullet breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Pengullet produces 113 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Pengullet breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Pengullet in Palworld?
- Yes. 50 pairs produce Pengullet in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Swee and Chikipi, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Pengullet in Palworld?
- Swee and Chikipi, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 50 pairs that produce Pengullet. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2960.
- Can you catch Pengullet in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 1-45. Its spawn points fall inside 12 named regions, the densest Foot of the Astral Mountains, where they run level 35-34. There is no alpha Pengullet, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 484 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Pengullet breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 50 of Pengullet's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Pengullet be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Pengullet is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-45, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Pengullet inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Pengullet is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Swee and Chikipi has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Swee and Chikipi pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
