Gender odds on the Helzephyr and Vanwyrm pair
Both Helzephyr and Vanwyrm hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Prunelia itself comes out 40% male, which matters later if you pair two of them. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Prunelia combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Prunelia when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1390. 235 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Prunelia
2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Prunelia. Arsox and Chillet make Chillet Ignis, then Chillet Ignis and Petallia Ignis make Prunelia.
- 1
- 2
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Prunelia passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Prunelia egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Prunelia worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one. Prunelia spawns from level 30, and the alpha at level 63 hands you a guaranteed one on the way past. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 24 catch. With 235 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Prunelia in the wild
Prunelia spawns in Scorched Hill and 7 other areas, at level 61-63. Another 205 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 63.

| Scorched Hill | 61-63 | 147 |
| The Oculus Gate, Tower in Sight | 52-66 | 91 |
| Loess Plains | 52-63 | 89 |
| Hidden Passage to the Oculus Gate | 61-66 | 73 |
| Deserted Ash Plateau | 61-63 | 52 |

Prunelia work suitability and drops
Prunelia has Planting 3 and Medicine Production 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Beautiful Flower when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Prunelia is actually for once it hatches
Planting 3 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. It works through the night, when the rest of the base is asleep.
Prunelia active skills and partner skill
Prunelia learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Prayer for Abundant Harvest. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Paired with other species, Prunelia produces 90 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Prunelia breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Prunelia in Palworld?
- Yes. 235 pairs produce Prunelia in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Helzephyr and Vanwyrm, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Prunelia in Palworld?
- Helzephyr and Vanwyrm, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 24, which makes it the cheapest of the 235 pairs that produce Prunelia. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1390.
- Can you catch Prunelia in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 30-66. Its spawn points fall inside 8 named regions, the densest Scorched Hill, where they run level 61-63. There is also an alpha Prunelia at level 63, which beats waiting on a spawn. The map on this page marks 728 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Prunelia breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 235 of Prunelia's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Prunelia be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 24 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Arsox and Chillet. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Prunelia inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Prunelia is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Helzephyr and Vanwyrm has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Helzephyr and Vanwyrm pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
