Gender odds on the Mimog and Wispaw pair
Mimog is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 80% male, so the female you need turns up 20 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Why an older Souffline combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Souffline when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2000. 222 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Souffline
2 breeding steps from a starter box reach Souffline. Croajiro and Munchill make Cawgnito, then Cawgnito and Dumud Gild make Souffline.
- 1
- 2
Measured from an early-game box. Anything you already own further along cuts steps off, so load your save and it routes from there.
Souffline passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Souffline egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Souffline worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Souffline only spawns at level 63-69, late enough that a 2-step chain often lands first. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 2 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 11 catch. With 222 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Souffline in the wild
Souffline carries a wild level band of 63-69 in Palworld 1.0, and no named region on the map has a spawn point attributed to it. There is no alpha to fall back on either. Treat the band as the level to be at, not as a place to camp.
Souffline work suitability and drops
Souffline has Planting 2 and Transporting 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Precious Entrails when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Souffline is actually for once it hatches
Planting 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 75 beats only 14% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Souffline active skills and partner skill
Souffline learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Fuzzy Fairy. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Souffline breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Souffline produces 96 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Souffline breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Souffline in Palworld?
- Yes. 222 pairs produce Souffline in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Mimog and Wispaw, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Souffline in Palworld?
- Mimog and Wispaw, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 11, which makes it the cheapest of the 222 pairs that produce Souffline. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2000.
- Can you catch Souffline in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 63-69. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. There is no alpha Souffline to fall back on either, so the 222 pairs on this page are the dependable alternative. It is active in daylight.
- Are these Souffline breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 222 of Souffline's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Souffline be bred in the early game?
- The cheapest pair needs a level 11 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 2 steps, opening with Croajiro and Munchill. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
- Can Souffline inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Souffline is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Mimog and Wispaw has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Mimog and Wispaw pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
