Gender odds on the Flopie and Cattiva pair
Both Flopie and Cattiva hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Eikthyrdeer comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Eikthyrdeer combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Eikthyrdeer when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2710. 99 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Eikthyrdeer
Eikthyrdeer is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 6-80, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Eikthyrdeer passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Eikthyrdeer egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Eikthyrdeer worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Eikthyrdeer shows up from level 6, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 99 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Eikthyrdeer in the wild
Eikthyrdeer spawns in Marsh Island and 7 other areas, at level 11-13. Another 62 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Marsh Island | 11-13 | 63 |
| Golden Hills | 11-13 | 22 |
| Sea Breeze Archipelago | 11-13 | 19 |
| Autumn Rocks | 9-12 | 18 |
| Fortress Ruins | 9-13 | 15 |
| Windswept Island | 9-11 | 12 |
| Foot of the Volcano | 11-13 | 8 |
| Bamboo Groves | 11-13 | 7 |
Eikthyrdeer work suitability and drops
Eikthyrdeer has Lumbering 2 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Eikthyrdeer is actually for once it hatches
Lumbering 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Lumbering pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 80 beats only 21% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Eikthyrdeer active skills and partner skill
Eikthyrdeer learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Guardian of the Forest. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Eikthyrdeer breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Eikthyrdeer produces 106 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Eikthyrdeer breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Eikthyrdeer in Palworld?
- Yes. 99 pairs produce Eikthyrdeer in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Flopie and Cattiva, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Eikthyrdeer in Palworld?
- Flopie and Cattiva, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 99 pairs that produce Eikthyrdeer. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2710.
- Can you catch Eikthyrdeer in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 6-80. Its spawn points fall inside 8 named regions, the densest Marsh Island, where they run level 11-13. There is no alpha Eikthyrdeer, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 226 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Eikthyrdeer breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 99 of Eikthyrdeer's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Eikthyrdeer be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Eikthyrdeer is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 6-80, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Eikthyrdeer inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Eikthyrdeer is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Flopie and Cattiva has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Flopie and Cattiva pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
