Gender odds on the Finsider and Cattiva pair
Both Finsider and Cattiva hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Caprity comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“The shrub on this Pal's back produces berries as long as it is properly fed. It offers these berries to potential mates, and if the flavor is to their liking, romance blossoms.”
Caprity is a Grass-type pal with 110 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 6-30. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Planting 2, Farming 1.
Partner skill
Berry Picker. Sometimes drops Red Berries from its back when assigned to Ranch. While in party, restores 100 Pal’s Hunger to the Pal with the lowest Hunger every 5 minutes. (Does not stack)

All 110 parent combinations for Caprity
Every pair that produces Caprity averages to its breed rank of 2610, and 110 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

Why an older Caprity combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Caprity when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2610. 110 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Caprity
Caprity is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 6-30, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Caprity passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Caprity egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Caprity worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Caprity shows up from level 6, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 110 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Caprity in the wild
Caprity spawns in Crescent Moon Shore and 10 other areas, at level 23-26. Another 96 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Crescent Moon Shore | 23-26 | 60 |
| Isle of Silence | 20-28 | 59 |
| Isle of Murmurs | 20-28 | 46 |
| Flying Fish Coast | 14-17 | 39 |
| Windswept Island | 14-17 | 27 |
| Fortress Ruins | 14-25 | 27 |
| Golden Hills | 14-17 | 17 |
| Gobfin's Turf | 20-25 | 12 |
| Twilight Dunes | 23-26 | 4 |
| Marsh Island | 20-25 | 2 |
Caprity work suitability and drops
Caprity has Planting 2 and Farming 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Caprity Meat when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Caprity is actually for once it hatches
Planting 2 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 70 beats only 4% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Caprity active skills and partner skill
Caprity learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Berry Picker. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Caprity breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Caprity produces 104 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Caprity breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Caprity in Palworld?
- Yes. 110 pairs produce Caprity in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Finsider and Cattiva, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Caprity in Palworld?
- Finsider and Cattiva, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 110 pairs that produce Caprity. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2610.
- Can you catch Caprity in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 6-30. Its spawn points fall inside 11 named regions, the densest Crescent Moon Shore, where they run level 23-26. There is no alpha Caprity, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 390 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Caprity breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 110 of Caprity's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Caprity be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Caprity is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 6-30, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Caprity inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Caprity is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Finsider and Cattiva has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Finsider and Cattiva pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
