Gender odds on the Bristla and Pengullet pair
Both Bristla and Pengullet hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Woolipop comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Why an older Woolipop combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Woolipop when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2820. 115 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Woolipop
Woolipop is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 9-19, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Woolipop passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Woolipop egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Woolipop worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Woolipop shows up from level 9, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. With 115 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Woolipop in the wild
Woolipop spawns in Sea Breeze Archipelago and 3 other areas, at level 9-10. Another 38 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Sea Breeze Archipelago | 9-10 | 19 |
| Golden Hills | 9-10 | 16 |
| Foot of the Volcano | 9-10 | 8 |
| Bamboo Groves | 9-10 | 7 |
Woolipop work suitability and drops
Woolipop has Farming 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Cotton Candy when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Woolipop is actually for once it hatches
Farming 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Farming pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 70 beats only 4% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Woolipop active skills and partner skill
Woolipop learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Candy Pop. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Woolipop breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Woolipop produces 108 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Woolipop breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Woolipop in Palworld?
- Yes. 115 pairs produce Woolipop in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Bristla and Pengullet, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Woolipop in Palworld?
- Bristla and Pengullet, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 115 pairs that produce Woolipop. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2820.
- Can you catch Woolipop in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 9-19. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Sea Breeze Archipelago, where they run level 9-10. There is no alpha Woolipop, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 88 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Woolipop breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 115 of Woolipop's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Woolipop be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Woolipop is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 9-19, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Woolipop inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Woolipop is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Bristla and Pengullet has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Bristla and Pengullet pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
