The 120 easiest of 266 parent pairs for Lapiron

Every pair that produces Lapiron averages to its breed rank of 1680, and 266 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 146 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Lapiron combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Lapiron when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1680. 266 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Lapiron

3 breeding steps from a starter box reach Lapiron. Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu make Eikthyrdeer Terra, then Dumud and Eikthyrdeer Terra make Dumud Gild, then Dumud Gild and Tarantriss make Lapiron.

Lapiron passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Lapiron egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Lapiron worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Lapiron only spawns at level 63-69, late enough that a 3-step chain often lands first. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 3 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 20 catch. With 266 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Where to find Lapiron in the wild

Lapiron carries a wild level band of 63-69 in Palworld 1.0, and no named region on the map has a spawn point attributed to it. There is no alpha to fall back on either. Treat the band as the level to be at, not as a place to camp.

Lapiron work suitability and drops

Lapiron has Gathering 4 and Handiwork 3 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Leather when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Lapiron is actually for once it hatches

Gathering 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Gathering pals for what beats it. Attack 75 beats only 14% of the roster, so keep it on base duty.

Lapiron active skills and partner skill

Lapiron learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Friend of Earth. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Lapiron breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Lapiron produces 95 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Kingpaca. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Lapiron breeding FAQ

Can you breed Lapiron in Palworld?
Yes. 266 pairs produce Lapiron in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Dazzi Noct and Mossanda Lux, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Lapiron in Palworld?
Dazzi Noct and Mossanda Lux, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 20, which makes it the cheapest of the 266 pairs that produce Lapiron. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1680.
Can you catch Lapiron in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 63-69. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. There is no alpha Lapiron to fall back on either, so the 266 pairs on this page are the dependable alternative. It is active in daylight.
Are these Lapiron breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 266 of Lapiron's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Lapiron be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 20 catch, so yes, comfortably. From a starter box the chain runs 3 steps, opening with Eikthyrdeer and Hangyu. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Lapiron inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Lapiron is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Dazzi Noct and Mossanda Lux has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save
