Gender odds on the Sparkit and Fuddler pair
Both Sparkit and Fuddler hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Tanzee comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“Long ago, this Pal used long objects like tree branches as weapons. After coming into contact with humans, however, it found something slightly more effective: guns.”
Tanzee is a Grass-type pal with 62 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 4-20. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Planting 1, Handiwork 1.
Partner skill
Cheery Rifle. When activated, Tanzee will mercilessly fire an assault rifle at nearby enemies for a limited time.

Why an older Tanzee combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Tanzee when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2900. 62 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Tanzee
Tanzee is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 4-20, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.
Tanzee passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Tanzee egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Tanzee worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, and early. Tanzee shows up from level 4, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 62 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Tanzee in the wild
Tanzee spawns in Sea Breeze Archipelago and 3 other areas, at level 4-6. Another 7 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Sea Breeze Archipelago | 4-6 | 27 |
| Isle of Silence | 4-6 | 17 |
| Autumn Rocks | 10-12 | 17 |
| Golden Hills | 10-12 | 3 |
Tanzee work suitability and drops
Tanzee has Planting 1 and Handiwork 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Mushroom when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Tanzee is actually for once it hatches
Planting 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Planting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 70 beats only 4% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Tanzee active skills and partner skill
Tanzee learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Cheery Rifle. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Tanzee breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Tanzee produces 109 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Tanzee breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Tanzee in Palworld?
- Yes. 62 pairs produce Tanzee in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Sparkit and Fuddler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Tanzee in Palworld?
- Sparkit and Fuddler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 62 pairs that produce Tanzee. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2900.
- Can you catch Tanzee in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 4-20. Its spawn points fall inside 4 named regions, the densest Sea Breeze Archipelago, where they run level 4-6. There is no alpha Tanzee, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 71 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Tanzee breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 62 of Tanzee's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Tanzee be bred in the early game?
- Yes. Tanzee is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 4-20, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
- Can Tanzee inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Tanzee is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Sparkit and Fuddler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Sparkit and Fuddler pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
