The only pair that hatches Green Slime
Two Green Slime is the only pair that hatches a Green Slime egg in Palworld 1.0, so no chain of other species reaches it. Wild ones spawn at level 33-35.

Gender odds on a Green Slime pair
You need two Green Slime in the farm at once, one of each gender. Green Slime hatches 50% male, so a coin flip either way. Two of the same gender in a breeding farm produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“[Tides of Terraria] A monster from another world, now tameable in this realm.”
Green Slime is a Grass-type pal whose only entry in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table is two Green Slime. No chain of other species reaches it. Once two are in your box, pairing them rolls passive skills rather than producing a species you did not have. Wild ones sit at level 33-35. Best jobs: Transporting 1.
Partner skill
Slime Body. Can be ridden. Can jump high into the air while mounted.

The only parent combination for Green Slime
Two Green Slime is the only pair the Palworld 1.0 table gives, and a pair of them averages to its own breed rank of 3100. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. You need both in the farm at the same time.

Why an older Green Slime combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces a child when the parents' breed ranks average to the child's, and Green Slime sits at 3100 with only itself hitting that number. Any older list naming two different species for it is quoting a table that no longer ships.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Green Slime
No chain of starter pals reaches Green Slime inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 33-35.
Green Slime passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Green Slime egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds for two parents of the same species, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Green Slime worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Catch one, because breeding cannot start it. Green Slime spawns at level 33-35, and no pair of two different species hatches one. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations.
Breed it anyway once two are in the box. Pairing them rolls passive skills, which is the only thing breeding can still give you here.
Where to find Green Slime in the wild
Green Slime carries a wild level band of 33-35 in Palworld 1.0, and no named region on the map has a spawn point attributed to it. There is no alpha to fall back on either. Treat the band as the level to be at, not as a place to camp.
Green Slime work suitability and drops
Green Slime has Transporting 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Hallowed Bar when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Green Slime is actually for once it hatches
Transporting 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Transporting pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 70 beats only 4% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.
Green Slime active skills and partner skill
Green Slime learns 1 active skill as it levels, the last at level 1. Its partner skill is Slime Body. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Green Slime breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Green Slime produces 116 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Elizabee. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Green Slime breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Green Slime in Palworld?
- Not from any other species. The only pairing in the Palworld 1.0 table that produces Green Slime is two Green Slime, opposite genders, with cake in the breeding farm. You have to obtain the first one some other way before breeding is an option at all.
- Can you catch Green Slime in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 33-35. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. There is no alpha Green Slime to fall back on either, so two Green Slime in one farm is the only alternative the tables give.
- Are these Green Slime breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. The game's real 44,849-pair table gives Green Slime exactly one entry, two Green Slime, and no cross-species pair at all. Older lists naming two different species for it are quoting a table that no longer ships. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell that a list is stale.
- Can Green Slime be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Green Slime inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 33-35. Two Green Slime is the only pair the 1.0 table holds for it, so breeding is what you do after the catch rather than instead of it.
- Can Green Slime inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if the two Green Slime you pair hold exactly those four between them. Green Slime is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and anything extra on either parent dilutes the draw. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and ranks your own Green Slime pairs by the passive skills they would actually pass on.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
