Gender odds on the Tocotoco and Swee pair

Both Tocotoco and Swee hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Fuddler comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

“Its large claws boast of diamond-like hardness. However, sharpening these claws consumes most of its energy, leading it to sometimes spending entire days doing nothing else.”

Fuddler is a Ground-type pal with 84 parent pairs in Palworld 1.0, and not one of them is a special one-off recipe. Wild ones sit at level 1-40. It is an early-game catch, so nothing needs breeding. Best jobs: Handiwork 1, Mining 1.

All 84 parent combinations for Fuddler

Every pair that produces Fuddler averages to its breed rank of 2790, and 84 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Every pair here is two wild catches.

Why an older Fuddler combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Fuddler when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 2790. 84 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Fuddler

Fuddler is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-40, so there is no chain to build. It is one of the 59 species every route on this site is measured from.

Fuddler passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Fuddler egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Fuddler worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Catch one, and early. Fuddler shows up from level 1, so you will meet one long before a pair is worth assembling. You almost certainly own one already. 84 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Fuddler work suitability and drops

Fuddler has Handiwork 1 and Mining 1 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Leather when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Fuddler is actually for once it hatches

Handiwork 1 is the best it does, which is base filler out of a ceiling of 8. Check best Handiwork pals for anything that does it properly. Attack 80 beats only 21% of the roster, so it is filler on both counts.

Fuddler active skills and partner skill

Fuddler learns 9 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Mining Assistance. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Fuddler breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Fuddler produces 107 different children, the rarest of them Kingpaca and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Fuddler breeding FAQ

Can you breed Fuddler in Palworld?
Yes. 84 pairs produce Fuddler in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Tocotoco and Swee, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Fuddler in Palworld?
Tocotoco and Swee, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 1, which makes it the cheapest of the 84 pairs that produce Fuddler. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 2790.
Can you catch Fuddler in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 1-40. Its spawn points fall inside 8 named regions, the densest Desiccated Dunes, where they run level 31-38. There is no alpha Fuddler, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 660 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Fuddler breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 84 of Fuddler's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Fuddler be bred in the early game?
Yes. Fuddler is one of the pals a starter box already holds, catchable at level 1-40, so nothing has to be bred first. Any pair you build from it is about rolling passive skills rather than about getting hold of the species.
Can Fuddler inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Fuddler is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Tocotoco and Swee has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Tocotoco and Swee pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
