Gender odds on the Nyafia and Helzephyr pair

Nyafia is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 40% male, so the male you need turns up 40 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

“In the old islands, Bulldosu sumo was widely enjoyed. At the highest levels, even a charging Rushoar would be sent flying instead.”

The 120 easiest of 194 parent pairs for Bulldosu

Every pair that produces Bulldosu averages to its breed rank of 1190, and 194 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 74 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Bulldosu combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Bulldosu when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 1190. 194 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Bulldosu

5 breeding steps from a starter box reach Bulldosu, beginning with Arsox and Dumud. Every egg after that becomes a parent in the next step.

Bulldosu passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Bulldosu egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Bulldosu worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Bulldosu only spawns at level 53-56, late enough that a 5-step chain often lands first. The shortest chain from a starter box runs 5 steps, and the cheapest pair still needs a level 30 catch. With 194 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Paired with other species, Bulldosu produces 88 different children, the rarest of them Menasting and Vaelet. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Bulldosu breeding FAQ

Can you breed Bulldosu in Palworld?
Yes. 194 pairs produce Bulldosu in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Nyafia and Helzephyr, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Bulldosu in Palworld?
Nyafia and Helzephyr, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 194 pairs that produce Bulldosu. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 1190.
Can you catch Bulldosu in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 53-56. Its spawn points fall inside one named region, Dancing Sakura Shrine, where they run level 53-56. There is no alpha Bulldosu, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 52 spawn points for it in total.
Are these Bulldosu breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 194 of Bulldosu's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Bulldosu be bred in the early game?
The cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch, so not much before mid-game. From a starter box the chain runs 5 steps, opening with Arsox and Dumud. Anything you already own further along shortens it, which is the part loading your own save changes.
Can Bulldosu inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Bulldosu is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Nyafia and Helzephyr has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Nyafia and Helzephyr pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
