Every pair that produces Anubis averages to its breed rank of 480, and 234 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

Why an older Anubis combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Anubis when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 480. 234 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

Anubis passive skill odds per egg

Anubis hatches with Earth Emperor already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.

With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. Is Anubis worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Anubis at level 55 in Twilight Dunes, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 55-80 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 46 catch. With 234 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Anubis spawns in Sandstone Gate Islet, the one named region its markers land in, at level 68-72. Another 16 of its spawn points sit outside every named region. Its alpha stands at level 55 in Twilight Dunes.
