Gender odds on the Blazamut and Warsect Terra pair
Warsect Terra is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 85% male, so the female you need turns up 15 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Why an older Dupin combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Dupin when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 520. 76 pairs hit that average. A page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample, not the set.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Dupin
No chain of starter pals reaches Dupin inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 55-74.
Dupin passive skill odds per egg
A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Dupin egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
| 4 specific passives | 5 | 2.0% | 114 |
| 4 specific passives | 6 | 0.7% | 345 |
| 3 specific passives | 3 | 30.0% | 7 |
| 3 specific passives | 4 | 15.0% | 15 |
| 3 specific passives | 5 | 6.0% | 38 |
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 25.0% | 9 |
One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in Palworld passive inheritance odds per egg, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Dupin worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Dupin only spawns at level 55-74, late enough that a pair often lands first. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 46 catch. 76 pairs is a wide enough net that one of them probably matches your box.
Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.
Where to find Dupin in the wild
Dupin spawns in Scouring Islet and 10 other areas, at level 55. Another 9 of its spawn points sit outside every named region.
| Region | Level | Spawn points |
|---|---|---|
| Scouring Islet | 55 | 1 |
| Islet of Circular Ruins | 55 | 1 |
| Suncrest Islet | 55 | 1 |
| Mount Obsidian | 55 | 1 |
| Bicornis Islet | 55 | 1 |
| Dancing Sakura Shrine | 55 | 1 |
| Desiccated Dunes | 55 | 1 |

Dupin work suitability and drops
Dupin has Kindling 7 and Handiwork 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Dupin is actually for once it hatches
Kindling 7 is the reason to keep one, one off the ceiling of 8. Put it on that job and leave it there. Ranked against the rest on best Kindling pals. It eats 8 food slots a sitting, which is a real cost once a base is full.
Dupin active skills and partner skill
Dupin learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Trick-Loving Fluffle. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Dupin breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Dupin produces 80 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.
Dupin breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Dupin in Palworld?
- Yes. 76 pairs produce Dupin in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Blazamut and Warsect Terra, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
- What two Pals make Dupin in Palworld?
- Blazamut and Warsect Terra, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 46, which makes it the cheapest of the 76 pairs that produce Dupin. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 520.
- Can you catch Dupin in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 55-74. Its spawn points fall inside 11 named regions, the densest Scouring Islet, where they run level 55. There is no alpha Dupin, so field spawns are the only source of one. The map on this page marks 20 spawn points for it in total.
- Are these Dupin breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 76 of Dupin's pairs are in the list. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
- Can Dupin be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Dupin inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 55-74. 76 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Blazamut and Warsect Terra, which needs a level 46 catch of its own.
- Can Dupin inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Dupin is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Blazamut and Warsect Terra has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Blazamut and Warsect Terra pair you already own.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
