Gender odds on the Moldron and Ghangler pair

Both Moldron and Ghangler hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Lapure itself comes out 40% male, which matters later if you pair two of them. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 273 parent pairs for Lapure

Every pair that produces Lapure averages to its breed rank of 810, and 273 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 153 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Lapure combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Lapure when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 810. 273 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Lapure

No chain of starter pals reaches Lapure inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 65-69.

Lapure passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Lapure egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Lapure worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Lapure only spawns at level 65-69, late enough that a pair often lands first. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 32 catch. With 273 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Where to find Lapure in the wild

Lapure carries a wild level band of 65-69 in Palworld 1.0, and no named region on the map has a spawn point attributed to it. There is no alpha to fall back on either. Treat the band as the level to be at, not as a place to camp.

Lapure work suitability and drops

Lapure has Handiwork 6 and Gathering 5 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Leather when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Lapure is actually for once it hatches

Handiwork 6 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Handiwork pals for what beats it. Gathering 5 sits right behind it, so one Lapure covers two jobs.

Lapure active skills and partner skill

Lapure learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Long-Sleeved Hurray. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Lapure breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Lapure produces 81 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Lapure breeding FAQ

Can you breed Lapure in Palworld?
Yes. 273 pairs produce Lapure in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Moldron and Ghangler, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Lapure in Palworld?
Moldron and Ghangler, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 32, which makes it the cheapest of the 273 pairs that produce Lapure. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 810.
Can you catch Lapure in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 65-69. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. There is no alpha Lapure to fall back on either, so the 273 pairs on this page are the dependable alternative. It is active in daylight.
Are these Lapure breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 273 of Lapure's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Lapure be bred in the early game?
No. No chain of starter pals reaches Lapure inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 65-69. 273 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Moldron and Ghangler, which needs a level 32 catch of its own.
Can Lapure inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Lapure is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Moldron and Ghangler has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
