Two Lyleen is the only pair the Palworld 1.0 table gives, and a pair of them averages to its own breed rank of 240. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. You need both in the farm at the same time.

Why an older Lyleen combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces a child when the parents' breed ranks average to the child's, and Lyleen sits at 240 with only itself hitting that number. Any older list naming two different species for it is quoting a table that no longer ships.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

Lyleen passive skill odds per egg

Lyleen hatches with Spirit Emperor already fixed, so only 3 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 3 lands all of them 30% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.

With 3 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Lyleen worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Lyleen at level 58 in Dancing Sakura Shrine, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 58-80 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations.

Breed it anyway once two are in the box. Pairing them rolls passive skills, which is the only thing breeding can still give you here.
