The only pair that hatches Frostallion
Two Frostallion is the only pair that hatches a Frostallion egg in Palworld 1.0, so no chain of other species reaches it. Wild ones spawn at level 60.

Gender odds on a Frostallion pair
You need two Frostallion in the farm at once, one of each gender. Frostallion hatches 50% male, so a coin flip either way. Two of the same gender in a breeding farm produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“Guardian deity of Palpagos Island, known as the Winter Caller. In the past, when a calamity struck the land, it soared into the sky and sealed away the threat by casting the island into eternal winter.”
Frostallion is an Ice-type pal whose only entry in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table is two Frostallion. No chain of other species reaches it. Once two are in your box, pairing them rolls passive skills rather than producing a species you did not have. Wild ones sit at level 60. Best jobs: Cooling 7.
Partner skill
Icy Steed. Can be ridden as a flying mount. While mounted, changes the player's attack type to Ice, inflict Freeze 2, increases Attack by 10%.

The only parent combination for Frostallion
Two Frostallion is the only pair the Palworld 1.0 table gives, and a pair of them averages to its own breed rank of 150. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. You need both in the farm at the same time.

Why an older Frostallion combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces a child when the parents' breed ranks average to the child's, and Frostallion sits at 150 with only itself hitting that number. Any older list naming two different species for it is quoting a table that no longer ships.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Frostallion
No chain of starter pals reaches Frostallion inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 60.
Frostallion passive skill odds per egg
Frostallion hatches with Legend and Ice Emperor already fixed, so only 2 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 2 lands all of them 60% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
With 2 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Frostallion worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Frostallion at level 60 in Astral Mountains, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 60 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations.
Breed it anyway once two are in the box. Pairing them rolls passive skills, which is the only thing breeding can still give you here.
Where to find Frostallion in the wild
Frostallion has an alpha at level 60 in Astral Mountains, and that is the one fixed Frostallion on the map. The game gives it a wild band of level 60 on top of that, though no named region carries a spawn point attributed to it. An alpha is a guaranteed catch rather than a spawn you wait for.
Frostallion work suitability and drops
Frostallion has Cooling 7 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Diamond when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Frostallion is actually for once it hatches
Cooling 7 is the reason to keep one, one off the ceiling of 8. Put it on that job and leave it there. Ranked against the rest on best Cooling pals. It eats 9 food slots a sitting, which is a real cost once a base is full. Rarity 20 of 20 puts it in the legendary bracket, and legendaries do not turn up by accident.
Frostallion active skills and partner skill
Frostallion learns 10 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Icy Steed. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

Frostallion breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Frostallion in Palworld?
- Not from any other species. The only pairing in the Palworld 1.0 table that produces Frostallion is two Frostallion, opposite genders, with cake in the breeding farm. You have to obtain the first one some other way before breeding is an option at all.
- Can you catch Frostallion in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 60. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. The alpha at level 60 in Astral Mountains is the reliable one to go for, because it stands in one place. It is active in daylight.
- Are these Frostallion breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. The game's real 44,849-pair table gives Frostallion exactly one entry, two Frostallion, and no cross-species pair at all. Older lists naming two different species for it are quoting a table that no longer ships. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell that a list is stale.
- Can Frostallion be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Frostallion inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 60. Two Frostallion is the only pair the 1.0 table holds for it, so breeding is what you do after the catch rather than instead of it.
- Can Frostallion inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Frostallion is born with Legend and Ice Emperor already fixed, which leaves 2 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 2, and with a clean pool of exactly those 2 that is 60% per egg.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and ranks your own Frostallion pairs by the passive skills they would actually pass on.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
