The only pair that hatches Paladius
Two Paladius is the only pair that hatches a Paladius egg in Palworld 1.0, so no chain of other species reaches it. Wild ones spawn at level 60.

Gender odds on a Paladius pair
You need two Paladius in the farm at once, one of each gender. Paladius hatches 50% male, so a coin flip either way. Two of the same gender in a breeding farm produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

Paldex entry
“Once one with Necromus. Its gleaming form is free of all negative emotions. However, a glimmer of hatred can still be seen deep within its eyes.”
Paladius is a Neutral-type pal whose only entry in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table is two Paladius. No chain of other species reaches it. Once two are in your box, pairing them rolls passive skills rather than producing a species you did not have. Wild ones sit at level 60. Best jobs: Lumbering 6, Mining 6.
Partner skill
Holy Knight of the Firmament. Can be ridden. Can triple jump while mounted. Activate Spear Thrust to have Necromus stay by your side and attack enemies in tandem.

The only parent combination for Paladius
Two Paladius is the only pair the Palworld 1.0 table gives, and a pair of them averages to its own breed rank of 180. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. You need both in the farm at the same time.
Why an older Paladius combo list won't work
Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces a child when the parents' breed ranks average to the child's, and Paladius sits at 180 with only itself hitting that number. Any older list naming two different species for it is quoting a table that no longer ships.
Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.
The shortest breeding path to Paladius
No chain of starter pals reaches Paladius inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 60.
Paladius passive skill odds per egg
Paladius hatches with Legend and Celestial Emperor already fixed, so only 2 of its four passive slots are ever in play. A parent pool of exactly those 2 lands all of them 60% of the time per egg. Four inherited passive skills is impossible for it, not merely unlikely.
| You want | Parent pool | Per egg | Eggs for 90% |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 specific passives | 2 | 60.0% | 3 |
| 2 specific passives | 4 | 10.0% | 22 |
With 2 slots to play with, a junk passive on a parent is a cap rather than a delay. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in passive inheritance odds with a fixed passive skill, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.
Is Paladius worth breeding, or should you catch one?
Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Paladius at level 60 in Wildlife Sanctuary 3, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 60 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations.
Breed it anyway once two are in the box. Pairing them rolls passive skills, which is the only thing breeding can still give you here.
Where to find Paladius in the wild
Paladius has an alpha at level 60 in Wildlife Sanctuary 3, and that is the one fixed Paladius on the map. The game gives it a wild band of level 60 on top of that, though no named region carries a spawn point attributed to it. An alpha is a guaranteed catch rather than a spawn you wait for.
Paladius work suitability and drops
Paladius has Lumbering 6 and Mining 6 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Diamond when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.
What Paladius is actually for once it hatches
Lumbering 6 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Lumbering pals for what beats it. Mining 6 sits right behind it, so one Paladius covers two jobs. Rarity 20 of 20 puts it in the legendary bracket, and legendaries do not turn up by accident.
Paladius active skills and partner skill
Paladius learns 10 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Holy Knight of the Firmament. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Paladius breeds into as a parent
Paired with other species, Paladius produces 70 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. 68 of those pairings use a partner you can catch in the wild.
Paladius breeding FAQ
- Can you breed Paladius in Palworld?
- Not from any other species. The only pairing in the Palworld 1.0 table that produces Paladius is two Paladius, opposite genders, with cake in the breeding farm. You have to obtain the first one some other way before breeding is an option at all.
- Can you catch Paladius in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
- Yes, at level 60. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. The alpha at level 60 in Wildlife Sanctuary 3 is the reliable one to go for, because it stands in one place. It is active in daylight.
- Are these Paladius breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
- Yes. The game's real 44,849-pair table gives Paladius exactly one entry, two Paladius, and no cross-species pair at all. Older lists naming two different species for it are quoting a table that no longer ships. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell that a list is stale.
- Can Paladius be bred in the early game?
- No. No chain of starter pals reaches Paladius inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 60. Two Paladius is the only pair the 1.0 table holds for it, so breeding is what you do after the catch rather than instead of it.
- Can Paladius inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
- No. Paladius is born with Legend and Celestial Emperor already fixed, which leaves 2 of its four passive slots for inherited ones. The most you can inherit onto it is 2, and with a clean pool of exactly those 2 that is 60% per egg.
Route this pair from your own save
Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and ranks your own Paladius pairs by the passive skills they would actually pass on.
It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
