Gender odds on the Ghangler and Warsect Terra pair

Warsect Terra is the awkward half of this pair. It hatches 85% male, so the female you need turns up 15 times in a hundred. Catch or hatch several before you count on one. The other parent is a straight 50/50. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all.

Paldex entry

“It views humans as nothing more than convenient parasitic hosts. The reason Mycora has taken this form is to deceive humans into lowering their guard, allowing its spores to spread more efficiently.”

The 120 easiest of 179 parent pairs for Mycora

Every pair that produces Mycora averages to its breed rank of 760, and 179 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 59 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Mycora combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Mycora when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 760. 179 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Mycora

No chain of starter pals reaches Mycora inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 75-78.

Mycora passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Mycora egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

3 specific passives4 15.0%15
3 specific passives5 6.0%38
2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the Palworld passive inheritance odds guide, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Mycora worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Fight the alpha. It is a guaranteed Mycora at level 78 in Withered Seaside, and it stands in one place instead of making you wait on a level 75-78 spawn. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 30 catch. With 179 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Where to find Mycora in the wild

Mycora has an alpha at level 78 in Withered Seaside, and that is the one fixed Mycora on the map. The game gives it a wild band of level 75-78 on top of that, though no named region carries a spawn point attributed to it. An alpha is a guaranteed catch rather than a spawn you wait for.

Mycora work suitability and drops

Mycora has Planting 6 and Medicine Production 6 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Decayed Ancient Relic when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Mycora is actually for once it hatches

Planting 6 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Planting pals for what beats it. Medicine Production 6 sits right behind it, so one Mycora covers two jobs.

Mycora active skills and partner skill

Mycora learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Charming Spore. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Mycora breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Mycora produces 83 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Mycora breeding FAQ

Can you breed Mycora in Palworld?
Yes. 179 pairs produce Mycora in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Ghangler and Warsect Terra, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Mycora in Palworld?
Ghangler and Warsect Terra, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 30, which makes it the cheapest of the 179 pairs that produce Mycora. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 760.
Can you catch Mycora in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 75-78. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. The alpha at level 78 in Withered Seaside is the reliable one to go for, because it stands in one place. It is active in daylight.
Are these Mycora breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 179 of Mycora's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Mycora be bred in the early game?
No. No chain of starter pals reaches Mycora inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 75-78. 179 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Ghangler and Warsect Terra, which needs a level 30 catch of its own.
Can Mycora inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Mycora is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Ghangler and Warsect Terra has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.
