Both Grizzbolt and Moldron hatch 50/50 male, so every one you catch is a coin flip and two of each covers it. Loomen comes out 50/50 too. Two of the same gender produces nothing at all, however right the pair is.

The 120 easiest of 670 parent pairs for Loomen

Every pair that produces Loomen averages to its breed rank of 890, and 670 pairs in the Palworld 1.0 table hit that number. Opposite genders, cake in the breeding farm, then the egg goes in an egg incubator. Some are two wild catches. The rest need a breed first.

The list stops at 120. Open the planner to filter the other 550 against the pals you already own.

Why an older Loomen combo list won't work

Pre-1.0 guides name a recipe. The 1.0 table works on averages: a pair produces Loomen when the two parents' breed ranks average to its 890. 670 different pairs hit that average, which is why a page showing five or six rows is quoting a sample rather than an answer.

Ours is the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated from the rank formula. The 19,044 figure still in circulation is 138 squared, the pre-1.0 roster of base forms counted as ordered pairs, so it measures something else. One pair shows the difference. Every calculator downstream of palcalc ships Panthalus and Panthalus as breeding true, and the game's own tables prove it cannot, because that pair yields Aegidron.

The shortest breeding path to Loomen

No chain of starter pals reaches Loomen inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 75-77.

Loomen passive skill odds per egg

A clean four-passive pool across both parents gives 10.0% per Loomen egg, which is about 22 eggs for a 90% shot at all four. Every extra passive skill on either parent lowers it.

2 specific passives2 60.0%3

One junk passive on a parent can double the eggs you need. The per-egg column is the chance every passive skill you want lands on the egg, with random extras allowed. The roll behind these numbers is worked through in the full Palworld passive inheritance odds table, and the planner ranks the pairs in your own box by them.

Is Loomen worth breeding, or should you catch one?

Breed toward it, then catch one when you get there. Loomen only spawns at level 75-77, late enough that a pair often lands first. Nothing in a starter box reaches it inside six generations, and the cheapest pair needs a level 32 catch. With 670 pairs on the list, one half of one of them is probably in your box already.

Breed it anyway once you own one. A pair is how you roll passive skills; catching is how you get the species.

Where to find Loomen in the wild

Loomen carries a wild level band of 75-77 in Palworld 1.0, and no named region on the map has a spawn point attributed to it. There is no alpha to fall back on either. Treat the band as the level to be at, not as a place to camp.

Loomen work suitability and drops

Loomen has Kindling 4 and Handiwork 4 in Palworld 1.0, and drops Ancient Civilization Parts and Dark Radiant Gem when killed or caught. Those levels and the drop rows come from our own export of the game's tables.

What Loomen is actually for once it hatches

Kindling 4 is the job to put it on, mid-table out of a ceiling of 8. See best Kindling pals for what beats it. Handiwork 4 sits right behind it, so one Loomen covers two jobs.

Loomen active skills and partner skill

Loomen learns 8 active skills as it levels, the last at level 70. Its partner skill is Lantern Enchantment. That learnset is our own export of the game's level table, cooldowns and all.

What Loomen breeds into as a parent

Paired with other species, Loomen produces 84 different children, the rarest of them Anubis and Menasting. A parent that wide is worth a farm slot on its own.

Loomen breeding FAQ

Can you breed Loomen in Palworld?
Yes. 670 pairs produce Loomen in the Palworld 1.0 breeding table. Both parents have to be opposite genders, in a breeding farm, with cake in the feed box. The cheapest of those pairs is Grizzbolt and Moldron, and the egg then needs an egg incubator to hatch.
What two Pals make Loomen in Palworld?
Grizzbolt and Moldron, opposite genders. Both are catchable in the wild from about level 32, which makes it the cheapest of the 670 pairs that produce Loomen. Every other pair is listed on this page. Both parents average to its breed rank of 890.
Can you catch Loomen in the wild in Palworld 1.0?
Yes, at level 75-77. Its spawn points do not fall inside any named region on the map. There is no alpha Loomen to fall back on either, so the 670 pairs on this page are the dependable alternative. Loomen is nocturnal, so hunt for it after dark.
Are these Loomen breeding combos updated for Palworld 1.0?
Yes. Every pair here comes out of the game's real 44,849-pair table, shipped verbatim rather than approximated. All 670 of Loomen's pairs are in the list, with the easiest 120 shown. Panthalus and Panthalus is the usual tell of a stale list, and the game's tables rule it out.
Can Loomen be bred in the early game?
No. No chain of starter pals reaches Loomen inside six generations, so the first one has to be caught at level 75-77. 670 pairs breed more of them, the cheapest Grizzbolt and Moldron, which needs a level 32 catch of its own.
Can Loomen inherit all four passive skills from one egg?
Only if both parents' combined pool is exactly those four. Loomen is born with no fixed passive, so all four slots are open, and a pair like Grizzbolt and Moldron has to carry nothing else. A clean four-passive pool is 10% per egg, about 22 eggs for a 90% shot.

Route this pair from your own save

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in your browser and tells you which half of the Grizzbolt and Moldron pair you already own. It reads genders, levels and passive skills off the save, then routes from there. Nothing is uploaded.
