Nightmare Ray hits for 600 on a 30 second cooldown, which is mid-table among Dark moves, where the hardest hitter lands at 800. At 30 seconds between casts you get one of them per engagement, and a missed cast is the whole engagement.
The game builds Nightmare Bloom out of the same skill id as this one, and gives it the same 600 power and the same 30 second cooldown. Nightmare Bloom goes to Bellanoir Libero where Nightmare Ray goes to Bellanoir, and Pocketpair's line for it reads “Bellanoir Libero's exclusive skill. Disappears suddenly, then reappears while firing a barrage of beams.
