How to get
Emerald.

“A gemstone that glows green. Can be sold to a merchant for a high price.”

1 source best: ×1-2

1 pal drops Emerald in Palworld 1.0. The early farm is Tetroise Primo at ×1-2 per kill, wild from level 60. One source, one rate, and it is the rate the game rolls.

What drops Emerald in Palworld

Exactly one pal drops Emerald in Palworld 1.0: Tetroise Primo, ×1-2 per kill. There is no second source anywhere on the drop table, so that fight is the item.

Emerald is a pure cash drop. Precious Entrails does the same job off the same dropper, so check which of the two a recipe asked for before you spend one. Tetroise Primo is Neutral-type with 100 attack, wild between level 60-78, and 2 parent pairs breed one if hatching it beats hunting it. Only Tetroise Primo's ordinary row carries it, so neither its alpha nor a predator version of it pays it.

Where to farm Emerald early

Tetroise Primo is the earliest source that pays reliably: ×1-2 per kill, wild from level 60, which puts it only once you are into the endgame. None of the droppers is nocturnal, so the whole list is available in daylight. Tetroise Primo's band runs all the way to level 78, so you never outlevel the farm and never have to switch off it.

Tetroise Primo drops 3 other things on the same kill: Ancient Civilization Parts at ×6-7, Precious Entrails at ×2-3, Large Pal Soul at ×1. Worth knowing before you decide the trip is only about Emerald. Killing pals is not the only route: Emerald is in the field chest loot pool at about 100% per chest, and the syndicate camp loot pool at about 100% per chest.

Nothing crafts from it. The game's own line puts it straight on a merchant's counter, so the only question is how many you can carry per trip and whether the fight is worth the coin.

How much Emerald you get per kill

Emerald comes in ×1 to ×2 per kill: Tetroise Primo pays the top ×1-2 and Tetroise Primo the bottom ×1-2. Capturing counts the same as killing for drops, so a sphere and a finishing hit pay identically.

Emerald farming FAQ

What drops Emerald in Palworld?
One pal, and only one: Tetroise Primo drops Emerald at ×1-2 per kill every time. The drop table holds no second source for it in Palworld 1.0, so there is no easier alternative to find and nothing to compare the rate against.
What is Emerald used for in Palworld?
Emerald is for gold, and nothing else. It is a pure cash drop, which is worth knowing before you commit to the farm: only Tetroise Primo rolls it, at ×1-2 per kill every time.
Where can I farm Emerald early?
Tetroise Primo is both the earliest source and the best one: ×1-2 per kill, wild from level 60. Nothing further down the table pays more, so the early farm is also the endgame farm and there is nothing to graduate to.
How do you farm Emerald fast in Palworld?
Repeat the one fight. Tetroise Primo is the only pal that drops Emerald, at ×1-2 a time every time, so throughput is entirely about how quickly you can reset and kill it. Capturing pays the same as killing, so a sphere is not a wasted attempt.
Do alpha pals drop Emerald?
No alpha-only source exists for Emerald in Palworld 1.0. Every row on its drop table pays out from an ordinary wild kill, so there is no boss fight standing between you and the material and no reason to wait for an alpha respawn.

Stop farming the wrong pal

Pal Hatchery reads your Level.sav in the browser and routes to the best dropper on this page from the box you already own. The trip starts from what you have rather than from scratch. Nothing is uploaded.
